Job summary

Frederick Health is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a 3B Med/Surg unit. The role includes night shifts (3 twelve-hour shifts) with weekend/holiday commitments. A $30,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible night shift positions.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in Maryland or compact state
• Associates degree in Nursing required; Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred or willing to obtain within 5 years
• CPR certification and BLS within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Assess biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational and discharge planning per nursing standards
• Initiate individualized plan of care using nursing diagnosis
• Communicate effectively with patients and interdisciplinary team
• Demonstrate leadership and accountability in nursing practice
• Provide patient/family education and discharge planning
