Job summary

SSM Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Night Shift in the Med Surg department at DePaul Hospital in St. Louis.

You will provide direct nursing care in alignment with hospital policies, protocols, and evidence-based practices to support patient outcomes and family involvement. You will collaborate with an inter-professional team, coordinate care plans, and educate patients on health maintenance while maintaining safety and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Uses standards of medical-surgical nursing practice to increase quality of care and life for patient and family.
• Establishes patient-centered care plans with the patient and family.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Collaborates with inter-professional team to meet patient needs and goals.
• Educates patients and families on health measures and care plans.
• Mentors and supports nursing colleagues and students.
