SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess, manage, direct, and provide nursing care during the patient’s hospital stay, coordinating planning with other disciplines using a patient-focused approach.

The role requires Missouri RN licensure, night shift workload, and adherence to safety and infection control standards while delivering timely, high-quality care and handoffs to the medical team.

Qualifications

• Performs comprehensive nursing assessment/reassessment and documents findings.
• Establishes, coordinates and evaluates a plan of care based on data and standards of care.
• Provides and documents nursing interventions and education.
• Communicates plan of care and handoffs accurately to the team.
• Maintains infection control practices and safety training.

Responsabilités

• Performs comprehensive nursing assessment and documents findings.
• Develops and evaluates the plan of care based on assessment data and standards of care.
• Administers medications and documents per policies.
• Provides patient/family education and discharge planning.
• Communicates with the health team and ensures accurate handoff reports.
• Monitors and documents IV fluids and parenteral nutrition per procedures.
• Ensures patient safety and infection control in daily care.
