Job summary

Franklin General Hospital is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN Nurse Leader to provide clinical leadership and operational support for the Medical/Surgical Department. This role combines direct patient care with leadership responsibilities to improve patient outcomes, develop staff, and advance quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and support for the Med/Surg Department.
• Mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff.
• Lead daily huddles and coordinate patient flow and department operations.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership on staffing, workflows, and quality initiatives.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and telehealth initiatives.
