Job summary

Effinghamschools seeks an RN Clinical Resource Leader to act as a clinical and operational leader for the Medical‑Surgical Department. You will oversee daily nursing operations, mentor staff, and coordinate patient care while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Georgia RN license is required.
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience; leadership experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and oversees nursing activities during shifts to support safe, efficient patient care.
• Serves as clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Assists with patient assessments, complex clinical situations, and service recovery needs.
• Manages patient assignments and flow based on acuity, staffing, and discharges.
• Collaborates with physicians and other providers to promote continuity of care.
• Leads patient rounds, monitors care quality, and supports regulatory readiness.
