Job summary

Ashley Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks an RN for Med/Surg in Vernal, Utah. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality care in a rural hospital setting.

Applicants should hold a Utah RN license, an associate degree, and be prepared to pursue ACLS/PALS within six months. BSN preferred and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• One year previous RN experience preferred.
• Utah RN license or Compact License with Utah endorsement required.
• Associate's degree required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the patient's condition and nursing care needs.
• Sets goals and prescribes nursing interventions for physical, psychological, social and rehabilitative needs.
• Develops individual nursing care plans.
• Implements care plans and revises as needed.
• Evaluates patient care outcomes.
• Collaborates with physicians and hospital staff.
• Administers medications, treatments and therapies.
• Communicates with patients and oversees care provision.
• Educates patients and families on conditions and care.
