Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition and nursing care needs.
• Set goals and prescribes nursing interventions for physical, psychological, social and rehabilitative needs.
• Develops and implements individual nursing care plans and revises as needed.
• Evaluates patient care outcomes and collaborates with physicians and hospital staff.
• Administers medications, treatments and therapies.
• Communicates with patients and supervises care delivery; provides patient/family instruction.
