Responsibilities

• Administers nursing care to patients; assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the care plan in coordination with the physician.
• Provides patient/family education and counseling.
• Supervises health care team members with patients.
• Uses electronic systems to document, retrieve and analyze information to facilitate communication and education.
• Maintains knowledge of documentation requirements for patient records.
• Works independently with minimal supervision per Nurse Practice Act and internal policies.
• Operates equipment and monitors safety standards.
