Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing process: assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate.
• Execute physician orders per nursing guidelines.
• Supervise activities within licensed practical nurse scope and seek assistance as needed.
• Provide leadership in supervising others in the nursing process.
• Perform nursing interventions and care planning.
• Coordinate with the health care team on patient changes and needs.
• Promote safety and mobility using appropriate devices.
• Support Mercy mission and hospital standards daily.
