Job summary

AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is actively seeking a Registered Nurse to join our day shift team in a faith‑based, patient‑centered environment. You will assess patients, plan and implement individualized care, and administer medications with meticulous attention to safety and accuracy.

You will educate patients and families, collaborate with physicians and staff to optimize outcomes, and document care activities in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications

• RN with active Florida license and BLS certification are required.
• Minimum 1+ year in acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Strong patient care, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Coordinate care with medical staff to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Respond to code situations and provide stabilizing interventions.
