Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking an experienced RN for a part-time night shift in Wesley Chapel, FL. The role focuses on holistic patient assessment, care planning, and safe medication administration in a faith-based health system.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, document care accurately, and participate in ongoing professional development to improve outcomes and patient satisfaction. Prior acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license and registered nurse in Florida.
• Associate degree in nursing required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ year of acute hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, and social factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, reevaluating as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and communication.
• Document patient information accurately in the medical record.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and adjust plans to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to the care team to ensure quality care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and performance improvement.
• Respond promptly to code situations and stabilize patients.
