Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, Florida is seeking a registered nurse for a full‑time, day‑shift position. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families.

Collaboration with the care team and precise documentation are essential to delivering safe, high‑quality care. Required RN license and BLS/CPR certification; acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Experience in acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer use.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments spanning physical, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with ongoing evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and safety protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self‑care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure safe, effective, and timely care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care activities and outcomes.
