Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg Unit 1, 36 hours per week, day shift with every other weekend. The RN provides comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced setting, under Ohio Board of Nursing standards, and collaborates with LPNs and UAPs.

BLS required; a BSN is preferred with five years of employment consideration. This full-time role supports a 24/7 operation, emphasizing clinical quality, safety, and teamwork within the department.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current RN license in good standing with a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification
• BSN required at 5 years of employment

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Perform initial and ongoing health status assessments.
• Document planned interventions and revise care plans with the team.
• Actively participate in process improvement to improve clinical quality and patient satisfaction.
• Support department operations to ensure 24/7/365 coverage.
