Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg Ortho Unit 2 in Columbus, OH. This role provides general nursing care to patients and families across the continuum of care in diverse, acute settings, operating 24/7/365 as part of a High Reliability Organization.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, delegate tasks to LPNs and UAPs as allowed, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, quality outcomes. Day shift; 24 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification.
• BSN required at 5 years of employment

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care provided to assigned patients.
• Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and/or individual.
• Document planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems.
