• BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care based on evidence-based practices, policies, and standards of care.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, families, and health care team about status and plans.
• Administer medications using bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Document patient assessments and care plans electronically at point of care.
• Provide patient and family education to optimize health and disease management.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary discharge planning for safe transitions of care.
