Job summary

Banner Ironwood Medical Center in Queen Creek, AZ seeks a Med Surg Registered Nurse. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for a 12-bed unit, delivering patient care based on professional standards.

The job offers 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) with weekend rotation and attractive differential pay. Nights receive an 18% shift differential when applicable, enhancing overall compensation and growth potential within Banner Health.

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona RN license (or in process) and current BLS certification.
• Experience in Med Surg nursing preferred.
• Evidence-based practice and professional nursing standards familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, and discharge needs.
• Formulate and revise care plans with patient/family and multidisciplinary team.
• Provide direct patient care and coordinate with nursing staff.
• Document nursing processes and patient responses to treatment.
• Communicate clearly to physicians and care team to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and clinical practice standards.
