Job summary

Allina Health is a not-for-profit health system serving Minnesota and western Wisconsin. We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a permanent night shift in Minneapolis to support medical-surgical units, coordinate patient care, and apply evidence-based nursing practice.

The role features a 12-hour shift, 30 hours per week, and a union contract (MNA-01-Abbott Northwestern RN-RAN) with every 3rd weekend rotation. The pay range is posted along with shift and weekend differentials.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree in nursing
• Licensed Registered Nurse in MN (or WI where applicable)
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification desirable or in-house training within 60 days (Location dependent)
• CMSRN certification preferred for the role

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs and plan of care
• Coordinate, delegate and supervise nursing care on the unit
• Ensure safe, high-quality patient care using evidence-based practice
• Maintain competencies and participate in ongoing education
