Job summary

Lutheran Health Network is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor patient data, and help maintain a safe, organized care environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with RNs and LPNs, flexibility in patient assignments, and adherence to infection control practices. BCLS within 90 days of hire is required; CNA/CPCT preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) within 90 days of hire required.
• CNA preferred or CPCT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Collects and records data like vital signs, intake/output, and reports to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assists with meals, bathing, grooming, linen changes, and mobility support.
• Positions, repositions, and uses mobility aids for patients as needed.
• Collects samples and performs glucose monitoring, reports results to the care team.
