Job summary

Jersey College is seeking a Nursing Instructor to provide high-quality instruction and clinical education for LPN/PN and RN students at our Jacksonville campus. The role involves classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical experiences to develop nursing knowledge, skills, and professional behaviors, with emphasis on student achievement and ongoing assessment.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to taught courses and experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites.
• Create a positive learning environment supporting student growth and professional development.
• Deliver instruction appropriate to the educational level and needs of students.
• Supervise students in clinical settings and promote safe nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and competency per program standards.
• Prepare accurate progress and grade reports; maintain attendance records.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, and clinical partners.
