Jersey College in Fort Wayne is seeking a Nursing Instructor to provide high-quality nursing instruction and clinical education to LPN/PN and RN students. The role may include classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical teaching to foster student growth and professional practice.

The successful candidate will hold a BSN or higher, have an active RN license, and at least 3 years of RN clinical experience.

Qualifikationen

• BSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state required.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to the nursing courses and clinical experiences being taught.

Aufgaben

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN nursing students, as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters students' academic growth and professional development.
• Deliver effective instruction appropriate to the educational level and needs of LPN/PN and RN students.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and promote safe, professional nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence based on program philosophy, objectives, policies, and established standards.
• Implement appropriate evaluation methods to measure student learning, progress, and competency.
• Prepare accurate and timely student progress reports and grade reports.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance records.
