Job summary

Jersey College is seeking a Nursing Instructor at the Ewing, NJ campus. The instructor will provide high-quality nursing instruction and clinical education to LPN/PN and RN students across classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical settings.

The ideal candidate is an experienced RN with a passion for education, strong clinical knowledge, and excellent communication skills to guide student achievement.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master of Science in Nursing or higher.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to nursing courses and clinical experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN nursing students, as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters students' academic growth and professional development.
• Deliver effective instruction appropriate to the educational level and needs of LPN/PN and RN students.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and promote safe, professional nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence based on program philosophy, objectives, policies, and established standards.
