Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, NJ seeks a Patient Care Technician for Med Surg (LN) on the Night shift. Under the direction of the professional nurse, you perform basic patient care tasks and report observations to the RN, supporting safe, compassionate nursing care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required upon hire; BCLS preferred.
• 1 year of relevant or related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care procedures under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Takes patient's vital signs and records intake/output.
• Assists with personal hygiene, meals, and mobility for patients.
• Cleans and organizes bedside units, utility rooms, and equipment.
• Reports observations and results to the RN.
