Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, NJ is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for the Med Surg unit on full-time night shift. Under the direction of the professional nurse, you will perform basic patient care tasks, monitor vital signs, and report observations to the RN to support timely, quality care.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and prefers at least one year of related experience. CPR certification and strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care procedures under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Takes vital signs and maintains accurate intake and output.
• Assists with personal hygiene, meals, and mobility of patients.
• Obtains routine specimens and assists with simple treatments as directed.
• Cleans bedside units and supports nursing staff in daily tasks.
