Job summary

Holy Name Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support nursing staff in a 361-bed acute care hospital in New Jersey. The role involves assisting with basic patient care, vital signs, hygiene, nutrition, and mobility under RN supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care procedures under RN supervision and report observations.
• Take and record vital signs and monitor intake/output.
• Assist with hygiene care, meals, and mobility.
• Assist with specimens collection and routine treatments as directed.
• Perform CPR and assist with monitoring equipment as directed.
• Help with post-mortem care and patient transports as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized bedside and unit areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
