Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of relevant or related experience preferred.
• CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation HeartSaver CPR upon hire required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support American Heart Association upon hire preferred

Aufgaben

• Performs basic patient care procedures as delegated under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Takes patient's vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure and pain score).
• Assists with personal hygiene care for patients and bed/assisted baths.
• Assists patients with meals and feeds patients who are unable to feed themselves.
• Obtains routine specimens of urine, sputum and feces.
• Performs treatments and assists with cardiac monitor leads and pulse oximetry as directed.
• Performs CPR when needed.
• Empties drainage bags and records I&O.
• Assists with post-mortem care and patient positioning/transport.
• Cleans and organizes bedside units and equipment.
