Prime Healthcare Services is seeking a Medical/Surgical LPN at Saint John Hospital in Leavenworth, KS. Full-time days, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with a sign-on bonus of $10,000 for qualified candidates.

This role emphasizes direct patient care, collaboration with RNs and physicians, and active participation in discharge planning. You will monitor patients, administer medications, perform wound care, and educate families while maintaining infection control and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state license
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain
• IV certification upon hire (state specific)

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care including hygiene, mobility, and comfort
• Monitor vital signs, document observations, report changes
• Administer medications as prescribed and observe for reactions
• Perform wound care and dressing changes within LPN scope
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and care team to support care plans
• Assist with discharge planning and patient/family education
• Follow infection control practices and maintain records
