Job summary

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to lead high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit operations during shifts. You will work with the management team to monitor care, allocate resources, and model the organization’s values, delivering exceptional outcomes.

The CNC will support admission/discharge processes, staff scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring efficient throughput and a supportive environment for the care team

Qualifications

• RN licensure required and valid in Florida.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications within 30 days of start date.
• Associate Degree required; BSN preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge to support throughput and quality care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of patient care quality with the team.
• Collaborates with managers to foster teamwork for better outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first approach and assists with service recovery when needed.
• Operationalizes nursing strategies, including hourly rounds and staff engagement.
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, selection and training of new staff.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management per patient care needs.
• Supports inventory control and helps manage supplies and equipment.
