White Oak Medical Center in Maryland is seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager for the Med/Surg Unit to uphold quality standards and support mission-driven care. The ANM will manage daily operations, assist in budgeting, and coach staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualified candidates will hold a nursing degree (ADN/ diploma/ BSN) with Maryland license and BLS, plus supervisory experience. This full-time role features day shifts and biweekly weekends in a faith-based health

Qualifications

• Nursing degree (Associate, Diploma or Baccalaureate) required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Active Maryland nursing license and current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assures delivery of quality department/clinical services per standards.
• Implements daily operations for the unit with resource alignment.
• Assists the Manager with department goals, budgets and staffing.
• Collaborates with physicians to ensure age-appropriate patient care.
• Promotes teamwork and adherence to care standards.
