Job summary

Adventist Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for the Night Shift in the Med-Surg Oncology Unit in Rockville, MD. The ANM ensures quality clinical services, supports department operations, and collaborates with physicians to deliver optimal patient care.

Requirements include a nursing degree and Maryland RN license; BSN preferred. 2+ years in the department with 1 year supervisory experience are desired; night shift from 7pm to 7am.

Qualifications

• Maryland RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of quality department/clinical services.
• Assist the Manager with operations, goals and budget.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members.
• Foster cohesive work teams and inter-disciplinary collaboration.
• Develop evidence-based standards of care.
• Report events affecting patient-centered care promptly.
• Promote excellent customer service and employee relations.
• Execute additional duties as required.

Education
