Job summary

CPP Clinics in Northern Michigan is seeking a friendly Front Desk Receptionist for a part-time, on-site role in Traverse City. You will be the first and last impression for patients, handling check-in/check-out, scheduling, payments, and documentation with professionalism and warmth.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a customer-facing role, strong communication, multitasking, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
• Experience managing phone systems and scheduling.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the office, ensuring smooth operations throughout the day.
• Greet patients, create a welcoming atmosphere, and manage check-in/check-out, payments, and documentation.
• Coordinate scheduling, including appointment confirmations, reminders, updates, and provider communication.
• Handle communications by answering phones, managing emails, faxes, and mail, and responding professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk, reception area, restrooms, and distribute marketing materials.
• Support daily operations by ordering supplies, managing patient records and reports, and collaborating with the team to deliver excellent customer service.
