Job summary

Amazon's Maintenance team is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance group in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Flexibility in schedule including weekends, nights, holidays.
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience or completion of Amazon's Apprenticeship Program.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance procedures experience.
• 2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of safety standards experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE.
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all Amazon Operations facilities.
• Move up to 49lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders safely, and perform bending, lifting, and reaching as required.
