Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians to grow in their roles.

This role requires handling safety procedures, performing predictive maintenance, and understanding electrical schematics, with opportunities to expand skills

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma required.
• Certification from Amazon's Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship Program, or 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience.
• 2+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 2+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years demonstrating safety standards experience.
• 2+ years troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment (MHE) experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all Amazon Operations facilities.
