Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment and mentor junior technicians.

Responsibilities include promoting safe operations, performing preventative maintenance with documentation, and troubleshooting MHE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience or apprenticeship.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance procedures experience.
• 2+ years of reading blueprints/electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of safety standards experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting MHE.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE (belts, motors, sensors, relays).
• Maintain positive working relationships across the Amazon Operations facility.
• Move up to 49lbs, stand and walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders and bend/reach as required.
