Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians to grow in their roles.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
• Mechatronics/Robotics Apprenticeship Certification or 2+ years of MHE/automation experience.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience.
• 2+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years demonstrating safety standards.
• 2+ years troubleshooting MHE issues.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on MHE.
• Maintain positive relations across Amazon Operations facilities.
• Perform lifting, bending, and climbing as required.
