Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment (MHE) and pneumatic systems across the facility. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.

The role offers diverse shifts including Front Half Day, Back Half Day, Front Half Night, and Back Half Night with long hours and safe working practices

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years maintaining material handling equipment (MHE) or related systems.
1+ years troubleshooting MHE, conveyors, or related equipment.

Responsibilities

Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
Complete preventive maintenance with proper documentation.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on MHE (belts, motors, relays, photo-eyes).
Maintain positive relationships across Amazon Operations facilities.
Track and store department inventory.
Lift up to 49 lbs and endure shifts up to 12 hours.
