Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians.

The role focuses on safety, hands-on troubleshooting, and documentation, with opportunities to grow within robotics and automation platforms and adapt to various shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience
• Flexibility with shifts, including nights/weekends
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience or certification from Amazon's Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship Program
• 2+ years of preventive and predictive maintenance experience
• 2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics
• 2+ years of demonstrating safety standards experience
• 2+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE experience

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE
• Maintain a positive working relationship across the Amazon Operations facility
• Move up to 49lbs, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, climb ladders and gangways safely, and perform regular bending, lifting, and reaching
