Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the facility.

You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging equipment, and mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles within a fast-paced environment. This role requires safety focus and physical stamina for extended shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products experience.
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems experience or Amazon apprenticeship.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance procedures experience.
• 2+ years of reading electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of safety standards experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain positive working relationships across the Amazon Operations facility.
• Move up to 49 lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders, and perform bending and lifting as needed.
