Job summary

Amazon in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the facility.

You will install, service, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians to grow in their roles. The role requires flexibility for weekend, night, and holiday shifts and a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years MS Office experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Certification from Amazon's Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship Program, or 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience.
• 2+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures experience.
• 2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics experience.
• 2+ years of demonstrating safety standards experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment (MHE) experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain a positive working relationship across the Amazon Operations facility.
• Move up to 49lbs, stand and walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders safely, and perform bending, lifting, and reaching.
