Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team across material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
• Flex schedule including weekends/nights/holidays.
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience or completion of apprenticeship.
• 2+ years of preventive maintenance experience.
• 2+ years reading electrical schematics.
• 2+ years safety standards experience.
• 2+ years troubleshooting MHE and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems in MHE.
• Maintain positive relationships across Amazon Operations facilities.
• Move up to 49lbs, stand for long shifts, and climb ladders safely.
