Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building. The role includes installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment, with mentoring of junior technicians as part of career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays.
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems experience or completion of Amazon's Mechatronics & Robotics Apprenticeship Program.
• 2+ years of preventive maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of reading electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of safety standards experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting MHE.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Complete preventive maintenance with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on MHE equipment.
• Maintain positive working relationships across Amazon Operations facilities.
• Ability to move up to 49 lbs, stand for shifts up to 12 hours, climb ladders safely, and bend/reach as required.
