Job summary

JLL is offering a Mechatronics Junior Technician Apprentice program in Minnesota, where you will learn to install, troubleshoot, and maintain automated systems in a high-volume Fulfillment/Distribution Center. The program blends classroom, lab, and on-the-job training with safety at its core.

You will shadow experienced technicians, work with PLCs and robotics in controlled environments, and gradually take on hands-on duties in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass Mechanical Aptitude Test.
• Willing to travel to training at sites in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina or Texas for 12 weeks.
• Basic computer skills (email, word processing, reading spreadsheets).
• Basic troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow school and shop floor processes to stay safe while shadowing technicians on the job learning.
• Communicate and work well within a team in school and on-the-job learning.
• Work with technical documentation and with a computer in school and on the shop floor.
• Learn to work with material transfer conveyors under supervision.
• Learn to identify and repair malfunctions, and return systems to service.
