Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians to grow in their roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays.
• 2+ years of conveyor systems and controls experience or Amazon apprenticeship program.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of safety standards experience.
• 2+ years troubleshooting MHE (Material Handling Equipment).

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on MHE.
• Maintain positive working relationships across the Amazon Operations facility.
• Able to move up to 49 lbs, stand/walk up to 12-hour shifts, and climb ladders safely.
