Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment and mentor junior technicians.

Starting pay includes base rate plus shift differential with benefits starting Day 1. The role requires safety adherence, hands-on maintenance, and the ability to work flexible

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays
• Certification from Amazon's Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship Program or 2+ years of automated conveyor systems experience
• 2+ years of preventive maintenance experience
• 2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics
• 2+ years of safety standards experience
• 2+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE equipment

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
• Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility
• Move up to 49 lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders, and perform bending and lifting as required
