Job summary

JLL is hiring a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across multiple facilities. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment and mentor junior technicians.

The role requires 2+ years in MHE repair and maintenance, with a background in mechanical or electrical fields.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years repair of material handling equipment.
• 2+ years predictive and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) which includes belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all the Operations facility
• Track and store department inventory
• Move up to 49lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Possible travel up to 20% at a minimum.
