Job summary

JLL is hiring a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across our facilities. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians to grow in their roles.

The role requires 2+ years in MHE repair, predictive and preventive maintenance, and a high school diploma. Associates degree and CMMS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment.
• 2+ years of experience performing predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Associates or higher degree in Mechanical or Electrical field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• 1+ year of blueprint/electrical schematic reading.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain positive relationships across the Operations facility.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours; with/without accommodation.
• Possible travel up to 20%.
