Amazon is hiring a Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice in Jeffersonville, IN. You will learn to combine electronic, mechanical and automation skills, working with high‑performance manufacturing systems while following safety regulations.

You’ll be paired with journey workers and mentored by senior technicians to grow in this role, performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher required.
• 1+ years PC software experience (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Vocational/technical training or an associate degree or 1+ years Amazon RME experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance of conveyance equipment using plans and manuals.
• Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics work cells.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems in material handling equipment.
• Maintain motors, sensors, relays, and related components.
• Move up to 49lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders and perform bending and lifting as required.
