Daimler Truck North America invites motivated students for a summer internship in the DTSV Mechatronics Engineering Powertrain Integration team. You will support electrical and software systems for commercial vehicles, collaborating on controller development and system validation.

The role offers exposure to hardware, software, and vehicle integration, with potential for full-time transition based on performance and business needs.

Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program or recently graduated within 1 year (May/June).
• Pursuing a degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering.
• Understanding of vehicle networks (CAN & Automotive Ethernet).
• Familiarity with vehicle diagnostic communication protocols.
• Interest in mechatronics and vehicle electrical systems.

Aufgaben

• Manage Engine Controller parameters with feature owners.
• Update and maintain vehicle wiring diagrams for powertrain interface.
• Develop and maintain test cases to evaluate software releases.
• Use CANalyzer, DiagnosticLink, VEPS and related CEEA tools.
• Read wiring diagrams and schematics and create inputs/outputs.
• Meet with feature owners to understand requirements for feature vehicle testing.
• Foster an inclusive and welcoming workplace culture.
