Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is offering a summer internship in the DTSV Mechatronics Engineering team in Gaffney, SC. Interns gain hands-on experience by supporting electrical and controls integration during design and testing, aligning with core values, and exploring vehicle technologies.

Interns may transition into a full-time role, subject to manager evaluation and business needs, with relocation assistance available and a salary range of $21–$29 per hour.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or higher in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering.
• Recently graduated or currently enrolled with anticipated graduation date (May/June).
• Understanding of software development and/or software testing.

Responsibilities

• Support engineers with electrical and controls integration activities.
• Develop and maintain test cases to evaluate software releases.
• Read wiring diagrams and schematics and work with feature owners on requirements.
