Job summary

Epiroc offers an exciting Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineer role onsite in Garland, TX, with potential for a hybrid schedule after onboarding. You will support design, development, manufacturing and service of blasthole drills, applying engineering principles to improve product performance and customer outcomes.

The role demands a strong background in mechatronics, CAD (Creo) proficiency, and knowledge of PLCs/CAN bus systems, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics preferred; alternative BS in Mechanical with electro‑mechanical experience.
• Analytical, problem‑solving skills and strong technical knowledge.
• Experience with CAD tools and Creo preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop products from customer requirements.
• Create sketches, layouts, and plans with design team.
• Use CAD to produce drawings; build and test models.
• Prepare Bills of Materials and supplier specs.
• Study test data and manage product changes.
