Job summary

Epiroc Drilling Solutions, LLC is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to provide hands-on support for manufacturing processes and continuous improvement efforts. You will partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure safe, efficient, and repeatable production methods.

You will help implement, document, and optimize processes, collect data, and participate in root-cause investigations while supporting Lean initiatives and new product

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in manufacturing or related field.
• Technical certificate or associate degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and engineering documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and improvement of manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures and equipment.
• Troubleshoot production issues with Engineering and Production teams.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, standard work, and records.
• Collect and analyze production data for studies and continuous improvement.
• Participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Support Lean initiatives including 5S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, waste reduction.
• Assist with equipment validation and installation; support layout changes.
• Assist with NPI by prepping production areas, tooling, materials and processes.
• Provide training on new processes and maintain quality system compliance.
